end of the year again.
I remember this time last year, I thought I was sooo old because I’d finished my freshman year of college. It had been a very eventful year of firsts in virtually every aspect of my life and I couldn’t believe that it was already over. Now, here I am again. On Friday, my dad will pick me up from my school and he will take me home for the summer. I will officially be a junior in college, meaning that my college career will officially be halfway done. And once again, I feel like time has flown by. Once again, I have changed over this year in ways that, as a high school senior, I would never have imagined. I love the person who I’ve become. I can honestly say that I have a wonderful life and I’m so thankful for it. I can’t wait to see what next year will bring <3

If you don’t think that this girl is beautiful, there’s something wrong with you!
Oh, and I wish I had her hair. Boo.

I thought this was really interesting:
“To be “pro-life” means:
- loving and caring for your bodily health and the health of the planet that nourishes it
- loving and caring for play, that up-rush of life that we share with the higher animals but not with the lower (that’s why we play with dogs, not with worms)
- loving and caring for other human biological lives, not killing them by abortion, euthanasia, suicide, or starting wars
- loving and caring for other human psychological and spiritual lives as you care for your own, loving others as you love yourself
- loving the moral law that tells you how to do that
- knowing and loving nature and the nature of everything: man, woman, animals, God, and even sister death; not acting against their natures but “painting with the grain”
- loving the source and inventor of all life wherever He comes to you: in nature, in conscience, in the Bible, in the Mass, in children, everywhere, even in death.
See? Being ‘pro-life’ is bigger than #3 alone.”
-Dr. Peter Kreeft, philosophy professor at Boston University

erin-myriah asked “I'm taking 18 hours as well this semester! When I started my business I just gave it 4 hours a week (holding 2 parties a week) and my average in my first 3 weeks was a around $200 give or take a little. I also was going to school and working another job at the time. So it doesn't have to be a traditional 15-40 hour/week thing to be successful. Now I am moving into management & about to graduate college! (I quit the other job for my MK business). If you have any other questions just ask :)”
Wow that’s awesome! I’ll definitely be in touch if I have any more questions :)

love this show. Barney Stinson is a wonderful man <3

Decisions, decisions.
Okay, tumblr followers. I am officially conflicted.
So here’s the deal. One of the alum from my sorority (ΣΣΣ, in case that isn’t already made abundantly clear <3) is a sales representative for Mary Kay. Her name is Vicki, and she did a make over party for my chapter’s current members back in December and ever since, she’s been trying to get me to sell Mary Kay. At first I was like, “Mm… maybe in a couple years.” But lately, I’ve been really considering starting soon. It’s $100 to start, but with that first investment you can make up to like $400, not counting online sales and orders from parties. Vicki’s boss, Michelle, told me that if I start Mary Kay in May, I have the potential to make a couple thousand dollars just in the 3 months that I would be home. It’s an opportunity that I honestly cannot pass up.
But here’s the thing. I am not a salesperson. I can’t even do fundraisers - I hate begging for money. So I’m really afraid that I’ll spend $100 and never see a single penny of that ever again, and I really cannot afford to do that.
Ughh. No idea what to do here. Anyone have any advice?
